      Has anybody else experienced high hissing noise at speeds above 30km/h? I am riding it for 2 days now and i dont know if this is a ‘break in’ or could it be the brakes or back wheel making the noise?

      Went to the dealership today to have it checked out, and it turns out it is a common issue with new NIU scooters. He had taken apart multiple rear brakes from various NIU scooters with the same issue and there was no fix. Also, the front wheel was a little bit loose which caused that the magnet on the front brake read the wheel distance wrong and cause a weird braking sound. Poor assembly I guess? But they got that fixed.

      Hope this helps some people with the same questions.

      I also noticed that on our N1S (July 2018) the front brake pad is not completely retracted sometimes and makes a ‘hissing’ noise. The only thing that concerns me a bit is increased wear on the pads.
