    Has anybody managed to install and make the new controller work? If so, does your battery mileage decrease a lot?

    Right now, with the original controller in my 2018 N1 model I manage to make 6km each 10%.

    I would love to try to install the 60kmh controller, I think it is enough for me, just that little extra speed without losing too much range and most of all, lowering the risk of getting a big fine πŸ˜‰

    Please share your experience if you can!

    Hi Nathan, I have read somehwereit is around 50 cents per charge from empty to full.

    Hi, after a month, still no connection of my scooter with the app. It is still showing it at the Dealer from 45 days ago. I have reinstalled it, rescanned the QR code, but nothing, I cannot connect with my 2018 N1S.

    Ah, there’s actually one thing I really don’t like about the N1. Every time you turn the ignition key again, it starts from speed mode 1, very annoying.

    Hi, I have the 2018 N1s model with software TRA01V03.
    I bought it and registered with NIU 2 weeks ago.
    I have the iphone 7 with NIU app 3.2.6.
    I have never had any connection so far. My scooter appears in the app, but the data is old, from more than 30 days ago, it still appears in the shop I bought it from, with 40% battery.
    Dealer says I should wait, but many days have gone by….

    Hi Jorge, I pretty much agree on your likes and dislikes, although I have just made 50 kms with it so far. I have the 2018 model.
    My scooter reached a maximum speed of 50kmh, 47kmh measured with gps on the iphone.
    Unfortunately, I still have no connection with the app, after two weeks it still appears to be in the shop I bought it from. The dealer says I have to wait a few days, but honestly I’m starting to think the problem is in the software, either in the scooter or the iphone app. I have the 3.2.6 version and I think I have scooter software version TRA01V03. I know this is not the latest and I don’t know if this is the reason why it does not connect with the app. What is your experience?
    Regarding the turn signal, I have managed to change the sound following the hack described in the post on this page. There are like 8/10 different sounds, I chose the least loud. πŸ˜‰

    Hi, I’m Enrico, italian living in Berlin. I have just bought a NIU N1s black, it is the 2018 model. No extras for now, looking forward to meet other NIU users on this forum and share useful info about the N1s scooter.
