Finally! We’re officially hyped about the new NQiX announced on this years EICMA in Milan. ❤
This model does everything right which the original N1s/Nqi did… and “corrects” what was not so good.

While all the other models were concentrating on mainly one theme, e.g. smaller in size, higher speed and/or greater range, the NQiX gets most of these into one package plus sticking to the main success points of NIUs first model.

What we like love about the NQiX is the setup! And that’s quite simple:

• Mount the battery low
• Offer storage room

Both points which made the NQi such an success are fulfilled and expanded! Finally you can have 2 batteries in the under-foot-compartment – no more aftermarket hacks. And the under-seat is said to be bigger so that standard jet helmets should fit in there.

We refrain from listing all the new features like the ABS, hill-hold, fancy dashboard etc. etc. – all than can be read on NIUs page over here.

So up to here, all we can say: Well done, NIU! This is exactly the DNA on which the success of NIU electric scooters was built on.
Let’s hope that we do not see the same issues we saw with the MQi when released.
